Would it be possible to open source controller scripting?

Do you miss a sequencer feature or do you have an idea how to improve our sequencer? You're right here - tell us what you want to see in B-Step Sequencer.

Would it be possible to open source controller scripting?

Would it be possible to open up the controller scripting parts of the program? Maybe develop some sort of controller scripting API? This would allow people to design new Launchpad implementations, or to design interfaces for other controllers.

If it would be difficult to create an API (which I imagine it probably would be), maybe something similar could be accomplished by just assigning MIDI numbers to every parameter available in B-Step, and then people could use an external script (eg: python/mididings, etc.) to map those MIDI numbers to their controller. B-Step should also send midi feedback on those MIDI numbers, so controller mappings could have LED feedback.

Then people could make and share controller mappings for B-Step.
