Setting shfl/swing on a sliding scale

Post by Sikdrumz » 06 Mar 2018, 13:54

The music I make has swing/shuffle on at all times.

I am quite used to being able to set swing using a knob or slider to dictate how close the alternate 16th notes go to the next note. On B-Step I have to use both the 'shfl' knob in increments PLUS set the duration on alternate steps to get anywhere near the swing I need.

Is it possible to get a single knob with a non-incremental sliding scale to set the swing on alternate notes? The Arturia Beatstep allows swing to be set as a % value.

Yes, you are right - % is more common. Will be changed/improved with the next major update.
