Re: Updates planned?

Hi ErBen,

Yes it is. But my time is very limited.
I'm currently working on Monique 1.2. and then I like to go on with B-Step.

My plan is to make the interface completely customizable - then you can take the features you need and arrange it as you like.

Hi Netsu,

welcome and thanks for your feedback.

I'm currently working on 2 and 3 and this will come with Monique 1.1. in a bit.
If you like you can test it in a bit - any additional input is welcome.

For 1: added to the TODO for 1.2

Salute Tim, thanks for your interest. Yes, you are right - presets are essential for the success of a synthesizer - and for your inspiration. Morning Holiday,

can you please try it with the standalone version?
Just to be sure it is not a problem with the routing in Ableton Live or "reserved" MIDI ports?

Nice one.

There should enough power left to drive a synth at the same time beside B-Step (e.g. ZynAddSubFX).

Hi Atomix,

cool, handheld :-). Which Pi do you use? Is this a little touch screen or just a screen?

I'll add a full screen option which also removes the title bar with the next update (on F11 i believe).

Re: Change sounds of the Stand Alone version

Hi Marco, thanks. I believe we get it running. Two options: 1. you can use B-Step VST as plugin in your host. Which VST host or DAW do you use? Here you can find a list how to use B-Step (may be) in your host: http://forum.monoplugs.com/viewforum.php?f=58 Which host do you use? If you like to use th...

Hi BadTicket, :?: no, a song mode is not implemented yet. But you can do it by MIDI tricks. :!: MIDI tricks are a not easy to setup, but very very powerful. The only thing you have to know: you can use B-Step to control itself via MIDI - the rest is creativity. Lets be creative, let u...

Re: Recording the MIDI output of B-Step into FL Studio

Hi Sagetone,

I'm not really a Bitwig user and have no idea how to record the MIDI output of a plugin in Bitwig. Are you member in a Bitwig forum - can you ask there? Otherwise I can test for you - soon as possible.

Cheers

Hi Sagetone,

no, the Android version you can only get in the PlayStore and it is a separate license.

Re: B-Step: Installed several synths, but none work.

It is the VST B-Step I'm having trouble with. With that, I should be able to follow the same process from within a DAW and between B-Step and another VST; using LoopBe? No, if you use B-Step as VST you have to route MIDI inside your DAW from B to a synth (no need for virtual ports for a basic setup...

Re: B-Step2 Transport diff between VST and Stand alone

Hi Dea, no, you don't miss anything. But: If you using a VST host, the VST host is your transport master and B-Step is just a slave. With the "1/2" , "1" and "2" buttons you can speed up or slow down B-Step related to the host speed or run with the same speed ("1"). If you using B-Step standalone, B...

Re: B-Step: Installed several synths, but none work.

Morning Dea, as I see you found workaround. But still not working is the standalone, right? Not sure about ipMidi, but I believe this will not work for your task (it's for MIDI connections via network). The right choice will be e.g. loobBe1 to connect virtual MIDI devices on Windows, see this thread...
