In 2010, Thomas Arndt, the founder of Monoplugs, began to research alternative sequencer paradigms and ultimately developed the music Sequencer B-Step Sequencer. He released the commercial product in December 2013; version 2 followed in 2014.
In 2015, Thomas moved in a different direction and developed a huge monophonic bass and lead synthesizer called “Monique.
Monoplugs is not just Thomas Arndt. Ideas from others have helped escort him from the first beta version of a new product to the final one used for daily music production.
What will Monoplugs create in the next few years? Some code-snippets for a Vocoder have already found their place in the development folder. It also could be time for a big B-Step upgrade.
